A DPE includesa storage processor that is responsible for host communication and implementing RAID functions. DAEs can add storage capacity by connecting to DPEs.\n\nDPE是Storage的核心部分，這里重點(diǎn)說一下，DPE其實可以看作是一個微縮的計算機(jī)，有自己的CPU，內(nèi)存和操作系統(tǒng)，加上Raid控制器，我們在存儲設(shè)備上設(shè)置Raid，就是通過DPE上的Raid控制器完成的。DAE是用來擴(kuò)充Storage容量的設(shè)備，本身一般都不具備Raid功能。
