Job description
IBM Middleware service architect responds for pre-sale solution design.
1. Provide sales support to sell IBM middleware service solution(Middleware implementation and integration, service management implementation, cloud computing) ;
2. Develop solution proposal that best meet customer requirement;
3. Perform high-level and in-depth solution presentation to customer;
4. Perform project delivery when necessary.
Required Skills
1. Rich knowledge of major vendor’s solution and good understanding of their strength / weakness like IBM Tivoli / Websphere / DB2, Oracle / Weblogic, BMC, HP software …
2. Be familiar with SOA and/or application middleware infrastructure design;
3. Good understanding of cloud computing, virtualization and provisioning;
4. Proven skill and experience to develop customer RFP, proposal and architecture design;
5. 3+ years system integration experience or application design experience or 5+ system management/service management architecture design experience;
6. Good industry knowledge in Banking, Telecom and GB;
7. Good written and verbal communication and presentation skill in both English and Chinese;
8. Proactive working attitude and good teamwork player;
9. Capable to lead a team for complex solution development;
10. ITIL foundation certification is preferred, and ITIL service manager certification will be a plus.
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
At least 5 years experience in Middleware service architect
