Responsibilities:
•Manage enterprise infrastructure running IBM WebSphere Commerce Suite on AIX, Linux and Windows platforms.
•Implement highly availability and scalable systems; ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
•Work with monitoring tools and log files to proactively identify problems, and take action to avoid service interruptions and to reduce down time when service disruptions occur.
• Perform root cause analysis for service interruption recovery.
• Perform and manage systems backups and recovery, including backup/restore HMC, VIO Server/client.
•Manage firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers, and Intrusion Detection System.
•Maintain and update documentation.
•Cross train members of support team.

Skills Required:
•Extensive experience in IBM pSeries, System x and BladeCenter configuration and implementation.
•Extensive experience in AIX, Linux, and Windows systems administration.
•Demonstrated knowledge of virtualization (PowerVM/VMWare/Xen/Hyper-V).
•Demonstrated knowledge of High Availability solutions.
•Demonstrated knowledge of Networking/SAN connectivity .
•Experience troubleshooting a wide range of Network Appliance hardware and software.
•Minimum 5 years of experience in supporting N-tier production systems.
•Minimum 5 years experience with the following technologies.
     IBM HTTPD Server / Apache
     IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), Network Deployment (ND), Extended Deployment (XD)
     IBM WebSphere MQ
     IBM WebSphere Commerce (WCS version 5.6 and 6.0) strongly considered an asset
     IBM DB2

•Experience performance tuning for OLTP applications
•Experience with IBM Director
•Experience with Cisco and CheckPoint products
•Experience working within a consulting or interactive agency
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Excellent analytical and problem solving capabilities
•Good time management and organizational skills
