網(wǎng)卡RSS遇到IP分片會(huì)如何？

如果RSS需要根據(jù)端口號(hào)進(jìn)行計(jì)算，那么，在IP分片時(shí)，沒(méi)有端口號(hào)的情況下，RSS還有用嗎？

要吧，RSS就是根據(jù)五元祖來(lái)分發(fā)的
如果沒(méi)有端口號(hào)來(lái)判斷分發(fā)，不行的

分片包本來(lái)就很少，可能也是原因之一吧

具體的可以看看intel-82599網(wǎng)卡的datasheet有介紹，下面是截取的簡(jiǎn)介

Section 7.1.2.8.1, RSS Hash Function. A note has been added. See “Note: IPv6
extended headers are parsed by the 82599, enabling TCP layer header recognition.
Still the IPv6 extended header fields are not taken into account for the queue
classification by RSS filter. This rule do not apply for security headers and
fragmentation header. Packets with fragmentation header miss this filter. Packets with
security extended headers are parsed only up to these headers and therefore can
match only filters that do not require fields from the L4 protocol.
