1. Job Title: QA Intern
  
Job Description:
The SUSE Quality Assurance department plays a critical role in ensuring the overall quality of SUSE products. This Bug report screener position is an internship. In this position, you will be responsible for reviewing bug reports entered by external and internal users. This includes checking if all required logs were attached, if the bug was entered for accurate component and product, and if the bug reproduction steps were clear, etc. You will work along with other colleagues and managers to keep the high quality for SUSE products.
  
Key Responsibilities:
oReviewing bug reports in bug tracking system
oHelping users to provide additional information via bug tracking system if needed
oAssigning bug reports to the responsible and related developers
oClosing duplicate bug reports
oPrioritizing the bug reports
oRelated documentation tasks
  
Qualification:
oGood written English skills
oGood knowledge of operating system
oEager to learn new stuff
oExperience with Linux or other Unix-like system is a plus
oAt least 4 full working days per week
oLasting more than 6 months or long term and stable internship

2. Job Description: SuSE Linux Test engineer (Intern)
   
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Reviewing bug reports in bug tracking system.
2. Asking users (via bug tracking system) for additional information
3. Assigning bug reports to the responsible developers
4. Perform automation testing and compose test suits.
5. Related documentation tasks
   
Qualification:
1. Major in computer science or related specialty
2. Ability to communicate effectively in English (especially written)
3. Familiar with GNU/Linux operating systems
4. Familiar with scripting languages (e.g. Python, Shell)
5. Demonstrated skills of C++ coding is a plus
6. Be familiar with GNU/Linux debugging tool chain in both system and application is an advantage
7. Attention to details will be highly regarded
8. At least 3 full working days per week
9. Lasting more than 6 months, long term and stable internship
  
Organizational:
The position is opened in the Quality Assurance department, you will be reporting to the corresponding Engineering Manager.
