崗位八：Senior VMware Engineer - English
Job description
- Work with the architects on the solution design, virtualization capacity planning and Analyze
- Create/schedule and implement the testing plan base on the design
- Act as communication hub to deal with all the parties in the project
- Perform server consolidation and convention on VMware platform (P2V or V2V)
- Diagnosis of VMware performance and perform VMware performance tuning
- Able to lead/support the Junior engineers in project and BAU
- Responsible for deployment, configuration, maintenance and trouble-shooting customer’s VMware Infrastructure
- Provides support and consultation to remote locations or clients in order to identify requirements/issues and provide solution
- Schedules and perform VMware installations, patching and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established client’s SLA and procedures.
- Troubleshoots problems, responds to escalation, actively perform investigation and implement the fix within SLA
- Develops and maintains all operational documentation.
- Provide on call support as requested

Required
•        Bachelor's Degree
•        At least 2 years experience in Microsoft 2003/2008 server and/or Linux maintenance
•        At least 1 year experience in VMware HA, VMotion configuration, DRS, Virtual server converting tool, server clustering
•        Basic knowledge in Blade servers, San/NAS Storage
•        At least 6 months experience in Linux server scripting, TCP/IP, Networking and server technologies
•        English: Fluent

Preferred
•        Certified in VMware Certified Professional
•        Certified in VACP

Additional information
Requirements:

- Familiar with VMware ESX/ESXi 3.5/4.0/4.1/5 or ,at least, completed one VMware project implementation(Full cycle).
- Other virtualization product experiences is a big advantage : Citrix XenApp, Xen Desktop, Citrix Xen Server
- Frequent in English which can show ability to communicate to customers.
- Oversea working experiences in VMware and Windows/Linux server project will be big advantages
- Good Leadership and team player
- Good communication skill
- Great passion to learn and quick learner
- High feasibility and able to adapt to change quickly
