Smartphones and Tablet Devices are rapidly becoming primary personal computing platform. The Mobile Team is a new team within the Consumer Business Unit whose responsibility is to provide total security solutions for Android and other platforms. The team members are located around the world.

The new Partner Services group meets with Symantec partners and potential partners to discover their technical requirements, and turns those requirements into a successful partner delivery. We are seeking an experienced Development Manager who shares our vision and who would like to join our small group.

Responsibility
•        Manage a small team of Software Engineers to perform customization and integration of Symantec's mobile products for multiple Symantec partners. For example, modify product licensing components, features, branding, and product delivery mechanisms.
•        Meet with partner companies to determine technical requirements and feasibility of potential deals
•        Set clear objectives for direct reports and compare deliverables against objectives
•        Work closely with global team for success
•        Some travel is required

Qualification
•        BS/BA degree in computer science or equivalent experience
•        8+ years software development experience
•        2-4 years management experience desired
•        Strong Java or C/C++ Programming Experience (3-5 years)
•        1 year mobile device development experience on Android, iOS, or WinPhone 7
•        Adapt well to changing priorities and work well under pressure and tight deadlines

2，Job Title: Associate SQA Engineer(Mobile- Android)      1人

Qualifications:

•        1+  plus years of experience in Software testing  /or development for Android mobile devices/or Smartphone devices.
•        Experience programming with Java programming language and Android APIs

Department Overview
Storage and Availability Management Group (SAMG) focuses on providing enterprise and large enterprise customers with storage and server management, data protection, and application performance management solutions across heterogeneous storage and server platforms.  Key products in the Storage and Availability Management Group include VERITAS Storage Foundation, VERITAS Command Central Storage and VERITAS Cluster Server product lines. Each of these solutions is available across all major UNIX, Linux and Windows operating systems, enabling IT organizations to reduce cost and complexity through standardization on storage and availability management solutions from Symantec.

Responsibility
•        Work with a global engineering team to  take charge a Cloud Storage Project.
•        Works with little or no supervision.  Is able to take general direction and formulate specific tasks to accomplish the desired end result.
•        Anticipates problems and future technical needs and takes necessary corrective steps to ensure they are addressed.
•        Designs, develops and maintains high-quality code for highly complex components in a given product.
•        Participate in problem solving and investigation of various areas such as the Cloud storage/ Cluster File System /Storage/Networking/data security ,etc.
•        Has the ability to work on, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and projects.



Qualification
•        At least 3 years of experience in working in the linux kernel, system software domain
•        Knowledge of Cloud storage/Cluster/File Systems/Storage subsystems, system-level programming and debugging is required
•        Operating System Internals and Strong C/C++ /Perl/Shell  Programming skills is a must
•        Knowledge of  Enterprise Linux  would be must
•        Knowledge of  Unix platform , AIX ,Solaris ,HP_UX, would be optional  
•        Good Problem solving skills, analytical skills desired
•        Good team player
•        Good knowledge of networks TCP/IP, NFS. CIFS would be a plus
