最近系統(tǒng)頻繁出現(xiàn)error 1608
然后可能導(dǎo)致客戶端與數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)連接失敗，
如何修改參數(shù)？user connect 數(shù)為500

試一下修改number of user connections，改大些，如下：
sp_configure 'number of user connections',XXXX

改多大合適呢？每個(gè)connections都要占一部分內(nèi)存，記得好像改過(guò)700后服務(wù)起不來(lái)了
最多只有30多個(gè)用戶與數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)相連

不知道你所說(shuō)的頻繁出現(xiàn)是多頻繁,一天里出現(xiàn)個(gè)十幾次是正常的。如果真的非常頻繁，那你應(yīng)該從網(wǎng)絡(luò)方面去查。我決定這個(gè)跟數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)的關(guān)系不大

每天有一些也算正常，但是每十天左右都會(huì)出現(xiàn)一次連著很多1608錯(cuò)誤，導(dǎo)致數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)連不上，但是PING服務(wù)確實(shí)可以通，同一個(gè)交換機(jī)上其他服務(wù)器沒(méi)事，應(yīng)該不是網(wǎng)絡(luò)問(wèn)題

我今天也出現(xiàn)了1608錯(cuò)誤，用sp_who命令查看，發(fā)現(xiàn)有一個(gè)進(jìn)程為：
      0    382 recv sleep   NULL                          
         NULL                           SYB_BACKUP 0      
         master                         SITE HANDLER               0
此時(shí)進(jìn)行dump database備份總是不成功，備份進(jìn)程掛死了。
請(qǐng)問(wèn)為什么會(huì)出現(xiàn)這種狀況啊？我的user connections為1024，total memory為524288。
另外用sp_who命令查看的是所有進(jìn)程嗎？

以下是SYB_BACKUP的日志，可以看出數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)dump了一部分就掛死了，請(qǐng)教各位，使什么原因造成備份的進(jìn)程掛死了？

（1）我的sybase是12.0+12445patch，好像不支持這個(gè)存儲(chǔ)過(guò)程，如下：
     Procedure 'sp_monitorconfig', Line 93:
       在本系統(tǒng)存儲(chǔ)過(guò)程中不支持配置參數(shù) 'number of user connections'。
     (return status = 1)
（2）備份日志中只有這樣的信息：

有個(gè)方法可以試一下：
以文本編輯器方式打開(kāi)/opt/sybase/ASE-12_0/install/RUN_<servername>文件，
在文件的開(kāi)頭加上如下命令：
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/lwpLD_LIBRARY_PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH_64=/usr/lib/lwp/64LD_LIBRARY_PATH_64
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH LD_LIBRARY_PATH_64
在文件的末尾添加一行：
-T1631 -T1633\
增加完后，保存退出。

看樣子很可能是進(jìn)程死鎖引起的，出現(xiàn)這個(gè)問(wèn)題時(shí)，用sp_lock看看鎖定了哪些數(shù)據(jù)庫(kù)對(duì)象（此時(shí)可能執(zhí)行比較慢，要等會(huì)兒）。

呵呵，具體什么意思我也不知道，只是知道這么改。如果有高手知道的話解釋一下。
