標題: 在EMC AX4-5i配置ISCSI遇到問題
我新買的一臺DELL EMCAX4-5i存儲，想配置存儲的iscsi的端口信息，但是我的navisphere manager的管理界面上沒有任何關(guān)于iscsi的菜單功能項，只有和存儲管理相關(guān)的，如raid，lun，host，physical等，就是在右鍵的功能中找不到任何和iscsi有關(guān)的選項，navisphere manager是6.26.20.1.9，是還需要在存儲上面安裝什么軟件嗎？兩個控制器都是iscsi的。

查了半天的官方文檔發(fā)現(xiàn)寫配置iscsi步驟很簡單：

Configuring iSCSI ports on the storage system
Before the host can perform I/O to the iSCSI storage system, you must configure the network parameters for the storage system and host iSCSI ports.

In the Storage tree, right-click the icon for an iSCSI storage system and click iSCSI > Port Management.

The Port Management dialog box list all the iSCSI ports on the storage system, and when available, lists the port's IP address and the name of the initiator connected to this port

Select the port whose network parameters you want to enter or modify, and click Properties.

In the iSCSI Port Properties dialog box, for the selected port, enter the IP address, Gateway, and  Subnet Mask..

Important
Consult with your Network Manager to determine the correct settings before changing MTU settings. Changing the port properties may disrupt iSCSI traffic to all ports on this SP or result in intermittent operation. Use the Connectivity Status dialog to identify and check the status of all connections to ports on this SP. Initiator configuration changes may be necessary to regain connections.

Do not enable the Require Initiator Authentication check box until you have set the network parameters for the server initiator iSCSI ports.

Click Apply to save the settings and return to the Port Management dialog box.

Repeat the process to set the network parameters for any other iSCSI SP ports.

但是我在manager中把所有的右鍵菜單找了一個遍也沒有發(fā)現(xiàn)有iscsi的菜單項:em11:

Configuring iSCSI credentials on the initiator storage system
Assign credentials to the iSCSI initiator storage system if you will be configuring connections sets that use the shared credentials option. With the Shared option, the initiator storage system credentials are automatically assigned to the connection set.

Note In order for the target storage system to be able to authenticate the storage system initiators in the connection set , you must enable Require initiator authentication for the participating ports on the target storage system.

Select Use shared credentials to make the Shared Credentials options visible.

In Shared credentials, enter the required information for User Name, Secret, and Secret Type.

Click Help in the dialog box for detailed information for each option.

Click OK to assign the credentials to the storage system.

因為存儲的初始化是來安裝的工程師弄的，當時我沒有看，難道是在初始化的時候需要文檔中說到的證書？

AX4-5不是使用navisphere express么？怎么是navisphere manager呢，我記得CX3/4才用manager吧

檢測你在3樓說的initiator安裝配置吧, 搞不好是DELL ISP美給你配置好咯,,,,,

高版本的都采用manager了，和cx系列的瀏覽器管理界面一樣，我這里安裝的時候就是manager的界面，版本是6.26.20.現(xiàn)在我是懷疑初始化的時候有區(qū)別，但是有誰遇到過嗎？

ax4-5的配置很簡單阿
線創(chuàng)建一個pool，說白了就是raid group
然后在劃分virtual disk，也就是lun
注冊hba，然后將virtual disk映射給主機，就OK 了

我現(xiàn)在的manger界面中就是沒有iscsi，我懷疑還是初始化的時候有問題，樓上的兄弟是說初始化的時候有iscsi的選項嗎？

這個周末終于抽出時間來把問題解決，感謝我的哥們李理陪我周日的下午一起折騰，還是我自己來結(jié)題。
首先走了很多彎路，一直在powerlink上面看官方文檔，覺得應(yīng)該是在storage init的問題，就把系統(tǒng)重新recover了，換了最新的AX image：FLARE-02.23.051.5.505.mif結(jié)果還是一樣，在manager界面中間就是沒有iscsi的選項。個人猜測應(yīng)該還是ena缺乏的問題，最后通過不停的試各種ena，終于發(fā)現(xiàn)只需要SharedStorageControlEnabler這個最重要的ena就能解決問題，我想他應(yīng)該是iscsi的實現(xiàn)協(xié)議軟件。稍微總結(jié)一下處理過程：
1）recover完AX4-5i，選擇FLARE-02.23.051.5.505.mif支持dualsp（這步完全可以不做，純粹可以認為是積累折騰的經(jīng)驗）
2）用off-array management UI的工具登陸sp，將FLARE-02.23.051.5.505進行commit（這步千萬別漏，我在這里浪費了很多時間，因為從來沒有玩過這個AX，該死的官網(wǎng)的文檔居然沒有寫到，另外官網(wǎng)的recover步驟個人感覺也是有問題的）
3）此時用瀏覽器登陸AX的sp管理界面就是navisphere manager的界面，此時沒有iscsi的選項
4）將SharedStorageControlEnabler和NaviExpressEnabler都通過NTS安裝上，就能將管理界面換成Express的界面，也能出現(xiàn)iscsi的選項了
5）如果再把NavisphereManagerAXEnabler安裝上，就又能使用原來的manager界面了，而且看存儲的軟件安裝中Express變成了not active狀態(tài)，Express就不能用了。但是此時的管理界面上面就能出現(xiàn)iscsi的選擇項了，就在properies下面。

下面是最后的截圖，有興趣的朋友可以對比一下我前面的那張截圖。希望這個帖子能給自己折騰AX4-5i的壇友一點提示。

應(yīng)該的，自己折騰了很長時間，開始太過自信，覺得不用廠家的人支持也可以搞定，只要能弄到相關(guān)文檔就行。結(jié)果發(fā)現(xiàn)EMC的官方文檔雖然多，但是感覺都沒有講到關(guān)鍵的地方，有些文檔我按照做居然還有問題，而且從case里面也沒有找到答案，我估計如果有像我一樣的壇友在折騰AX4-5i，我的經(jīng)驗應(yīng)該能用上。

樓上的兄弟可以把NavisphereManagerAXEnabler的ena打上，這樣就能出manager的界面了，如果你不方便下載告訴我郵件地址，我可以發(fā)給你。還是用manager的界面比較習(xí)慣，express的界面有點忒簡陋，呵呵。

樓主應(yīng)該是把express升級成了manager，在控制器的屬性界面上就有關(guān)于target端ip設(shè)置

關(guān)鍵是一開始買的時候機器灌的系統(tǒng)就是manager的界面，要是一開始就是express我可能就不折騰了，不過折騰一遍也好，搞清楚了一些東西。

另外補充一點，我的AX4-5i重新recover完系統(tǒng)后，在init的時候，根本就沒有和iscsi有關(guān)的選項，我看官方文檔上面說有，我也很奇怪，我至少重新recover了不下10遍系統(tǒng)，試了三個版本的image，都沒有在init的時候見到iscsi，init的時候非常簡單，就是讓你確認一下兩個SP的ip而已，基本上沒有啥可配置的。
