A fast growing company is inviting talented and dynamic individual to join their team as IT Manager
Responsibilities:
- To manage a team of IT professional in support of application/network systems and meet the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- To carry out feasibility study, analysis, design, implementation and maintenance for IT systems.
- To manage application program development.
- To set up network server including internet/intranet content server, email server, database server, intranet server, etc.
- To provide technical support in operating systems, data communication, emails system, database system, programming languages and application software packages.
- To provide IT training to users.
- To collect user requirements and liaise with external vendors on IT projects.
- To assist in procurement processes of IT products and services.
- To participate in evaluation of new hardware and software technologies.
- To prepare system proposals and report to the IT Director.
Requirements:
- A Degree holder in Computer Science or related IT disciplines;
- At least 8 years professional IT experience. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the IT supervisor position;
- Ability to make rapid technical assessments and to resolve technical problems in a team environment;
- Experience with maintaining a helpdesk service;
- Experience with ERP Finance and Human Resources systems;
- Hands-on experience with Linux, windows 2000/NT, TCP/IP, Mail Server configuration and network security setup and maintain;
- Familiar with LAN/WAN network system and equipment.i.e. Router, Switch;
- Familiar with database systems: MS SQL and Foxpro;
- Familiar with web site development technology: IIS, XML, Java, CGI, ASP;
- Experience in the design and configuration of an enterprise-wide anti-virus and firewall system;
- Possession of MCP/MCSE, CCNA and/or CLP;
- Able to work independently and under pressure;
